The Collections

MIC represents the most important collection in the world and a real cultural center dedicated to ceramics. Our heritage consists of more than 60 thousand works ranging from 4000 B.C. to the present day. It houses a restoration workshop, a library, photographic and documentary archives and an educational workshop. Since 1938, every two years, the Faenza Prize is organised, it is a great and well-known competition dedicated to contemporary ceramic art. Also every two years, the MIC coordinates Argillà Italy, a market exhibition of international artistic handicrafts.

In each room you will find an in-depth QR Code to our most important works.
