Explores ceramic art from cultures around the world, from 4000 B.C. to the present, from masterpieces of Italian Renaissance maiolica to twentieth-century art and design with such masters as Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Legér, Dali, Burri, and Fontana.

For schools

“Playing with Ceramics,” an educational workshop founded by Bruno Munari, considers play as the main method of learning. Children of all ages are offered knowledge of ceramics through guided tours and themed workshops.

For adults

Our “Playing with Ceramics” workshop offers a series of workshops to develop creativity and learn ceramic techniques even for those with no experience.

For families

Every Sunday a dedicated family workshop to play together while learning pottery techniques.

For private events

The museum makes its prestigious spaces available for events of associations, companies.

For people with hearing disabilities

Two deaf people tell everyone about the MIC in Faenza. In collaboration with Fiadda (Association for the Rights of Deaf People and Families) and with the contribution of the Emilia Romagna Region (ACCESs project)

For people with visual impairment

Learn about our braille tour, our audio insights, and our plans for tactile enjoyment of the works in the room devoted to Folk Pottery and Design.
